Why should you target this market?
Tourism Ireland has continued to work hard to promote the island of Ireland in China. On the back of last year's increase of +11% in Chinese visitors to Ireland, Tourism Ireland is ramping up its investment in China to €1 million. In 2019, Tourism Ireland hosted its largest ever China Sales Mission with a record of 26 tourism businesses, visiting Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shanghai and Beijing meeting hundreds of travel agents and tour operators, as well as key airlines and travel journalists.
