China is the world’s fastest growing outbound travel market and the largest contributor to the global tourism industry with a global spend of over $125 billion in 2019. A total of 169 million outbound trips were made by Chinese Tourists in 2019. That same year the island of Ireland welcomed 110,000 Chinese travellers; a figure Tourism Ireland aims to double by 2025. 

Direct Air Access 

Direct flights from China to Ireland with Hainan Airlines and Juneyao Airlines have been suspended until further notice. There are many one stop flights to Dublin and Belfast available with International air carriers.
