Tourism Ireland is delighted to announce the launch Phase II of the IMAP, a cooperative pilot programme aimed at supporting Irish industry’s overseas tourism recovery. This follows the highly successful first phase of the IMAP which received 139 applications from island of Ireland industry, 109 of which were approved.

The application period for IMAP II is October 4th to November 30th 2021 for activities in eligible overseas markets from now through to March 31st 2022.

This initiative is intended to provide as many opportunities as possible for our island of Ireland tourism industry partners to kick-start international recovery, via activities aligned to our overseas Green Button marketing campaign.

We are now inviting applications from suitably qualified industry partners to undertake the following activities on a cooperative basis in core international markets:

1.    B2B Sales Calls by tourism industry partners with previous experience in this area

2.    Attendance at in-person B2B or Consumer Events/Shows by tourism industry partners with previous experience in this area 

3.    Marketing Campaigns by tourism industry partners with previous experience in this area

Please note that in all instances, government guidance in relation to travel and any associated guidelines should be observed at all times.  

Applications which qualify as eligible will be approved on a first come, first served basis, subject to funding being available.
