Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland are delighted to announce the launch of Phase IV of the Northern Ireland Industry Market Access Programme (NI IMAP), a cooperative programme aimed at supporting Northern Ireland industry’s overseas tourism recovery.
As part of Northern Ireland’s Tourism Recovery Action Plan, Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland are together launching the NI IMAP IV to support industry to undertake a programme of B2B, Consumer and MICE activities in international markets, to increase overseas visitors to Northern Ireland.

This initiative is a cooperative programme that supports qualified industry to get back to overseas markets as soon as possible and drive recovery for their business via agreed sales focussed activity.  It remains the cornerstone of the industry element of the Northern Ireland recovery plan from both agencies.  Since the IMAP launched in July 2021, Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland supported industry to undertake activities internationally, approving 54 applications from Northern Ireland industry with a total value of £231,000.
The application period for NI IMAP IV is from September 12th to October 12th, 2022, for agreed activities in eligible overseas markets for the period from October 1st through to December 31st 2022
We are now inviting applications from suitably qualified Northern Ireland industry partners to undertake the following activities on a cooperative basis in key international markets:
1.    B2B or MICE Sales Calls by Northern Ireland industry partners with relevant experience in this area
2.    B2B/ MICE or Consumer Events/Shows by Northern Ireland industry with relevant experience in this area

3. Tourism NI / Tourism Ireland led MICE platforms
Applications which qualify as eligible will be approved on a first come, first served basis, subject to funding being available.   Tourism Ireland led events which are recruited for via Tourism NI (with the exception of MICE platforms) do not qualify for NI IMAP funding.  If you are attending Tourism Ireland-led overseas events, you may be eligible for event travel & subsistence support, subject to terms and conditions.
